TODAY THE WORDS ARE WHO SITS NEXT TO WHOM?

TODAY THE WORDS are WHO SITS NEXT TO WHOM? It is an old battle in a lot of families, not a bitter one, but an ongoing one. I could say lie next to whom also. I watched our little dogs this morning and their actions brought this topic to mind. Bandit, our rescued Yorkie, thinks he has to lie beside me, incredibly close when I am writing the blog. This has been going on for quite some time and he considers it his place. Our newest dog, Buster, another one we rescued, which is still in a puppy stage, is starting to vie for this spot. Now, that is not going to happen with Bandit. He somehow feels he earned his spot and he will intentionally distract Buster to get him to move in order for him to regain his spot by me. Our grandsons conduct the same process, usually with the oldest one, who is still a baby to us, even though he says he is a big boy now since he goes to kindergarten. They try to entice the other grandchild to move but if that doesn’t work, they get upset. Somehow, this spot is a good spot to lie or it is closeness to Nana they want. Nana doesn’t mind at all. Then, we get to sitting down to a meal and here we go again with who sits next to whom. What a glorious time if we were privileged to sit next to God. That brings me to a deeper thought…..If in Heaven, you never are hungry, there will be no need for dinners and even the battle of who sits next to whom will not be necessary. There will be no need for shelter as there will be bad weather to be scared of as I hear so many friends who are terrified when a storm comes up. Wrinkle creams will not be sold or bought in Heaven and we all will glow with our spirit and no one has to worry if they are pretty, if they are fat, or if they are short or too tall, etc. The moral of this story is no worries; no fretting; no anger; no hunger; no poverty as we will all be rich in blessings. I don’t know about the rest of you but this has to be the most desirable goal we can set. Material goals on this earth are exactly that; only good for this life and we will never need anything again. My goal is to strive to live a life where I can live forever in a wonderful, heavenly, peaceful, blissful Heaven.
What is your goal? Live life; love life; and live life to the fullest and life will smile back at you.
DAILY FEATURED BIBLE VERSE:

Revelation 22:3-7

No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.  They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.  There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.  The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”  “Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book.”
