TODAY THE WORDS  are IN A FLASH. Yesterday, we received news to have prayer for a talented singer and her husband since they were in an awful automobile accident and were in critical condition and it touched my heart in many ways. I have not met this couple but through a mutual friend I found out they are a great couple. Riding along, probably talking about everyday things, and in a flash, their lives may be changed forever. This is why I have chosen this subject for today’s blog. Life has a way of changing for many reasons in a flash for both good and bad, happy or sad! An athlete, by one feat (or it seems that way even though they have been practicing for years) their life is changed and almost celebrity status is achieved. An artist can paint a painting which is recognized by experts as a masterpiece and even though they have painted many more paintings, it is this one which, in a flash, can change a starving artist into one of the masters of art. An inventor, though many of the inventions have gone unnoticed, makes one change to an idea, and in a flash, we are using this invention every day and it makes this person famous. One turn in a person’s life or a bad decision can turn an unknown person into a hunted man or woman and actually from totally unknown to the most wanted fugitive in a flash. Military families live with the possible devastating news which can come in a flash and forever, their lives will never be the same. Their family reunions will always be missing a person. As this couple I referred to in the beginning hopefully will recover but as some young people who have been in tragic accidents and in a flash, they (thankfully) are alive but faced with permanent scars or injuries. Yes, life is not always so sweet and in a flash can change forever. And this brings me to the deeper thought…..There is a time in our lives when in a flash we can change our destiny. Life doesn’t allow us the knowledge to know what is going to occur during our lifetime and what we will face in a flash but it will give us the knowledge of A Higher Power who will see us through each and every in a flash moment and give us peace on our eternal destiny. Live life, love life, and live life to the fullest and make every moment count as in a flash, it can change.

1 Corinthians 15:52 King James Version (KJV)

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
