TODAY THE WORDS are SEPARATING EGGS. There are times when I wake up and the topics are in my mind and are clearly implanted as the message. There are other times when I feel a sense of a topic, like SEPARATING EGGS, and I have no clue as to the message behind the topic but here I go.
Simply Recipes.com has instructions on how to separate the egg yolk from the whites and is as follows:

  1. Let the yolk settle in the lower half of the egg shell while the egg whites run off the sides of the egg into the bowl. Gently transfer the egg yolk back and forth between the egg shell halves, letting as much egg white as you can drip into the bowl below. Be careful so as not to break the egg yolk.
This sounds simple and I have performed this feat thousands of time in my lifetime with a fair record of success. However, as with any other simple instructions, it has gone awry several times. Let me elaborate. 1) when I cracked the egg and was planning on the egg yolk to settle, the yolk had other plans and slipped out with the white; 2) on about the 3rd egg separation level, the yolk breaks and some of it leaks into my pristine whites; 3) multiple eggs are raising the risk level of all eggs being good eggs and allows sabotage to the entire project.
Are you agreeing? Has the same crisis occurred while trying to complete what seems such a simple task? I think so and this brings me to the message for today. In life, we are expected to do many “simple” tasks but life being what it is throws “a monkey wrench” into the simple task. There are also many bad eggs out in the world which by adding them to our life mixture can sabotage the entire bowl of life we had already worked hard to produce. We can get to a certain stage in our life and we are starting to feel comfortable (or as in the egg separating process, 4 out of 5 eggs completed and a catastrophe as a broken yolk falls in the bowl). We have to take the time to strain very carefully the intrusion and remove it from our lives. Egg separating or any other life process can start out easily and we can be laughing and having a great time and then it happens………………what are we to do?
Now for the deeper thought…….I am pretty sure there are some safety factors we could put into play with egg separating and I know we can have some protection when some events, sickness, accident, death, marital problems, and financial problems, or work related situations and it is patience and faith. First, we should practice patience and not react in such a high level emotional response. Once we are calm, we can go to the next level….prayers and meditation to alleviate the stress. If we don’t strain our problems very carefully; we create more of a mess than we had originally. Stay calm, use patience and practice faith. And in the worst case scenario, there are times when we have to throw out the spoiled ingredients and start over. Live life, love life, and live life to the fullest by separating the good eggs in our lives from the bad eggs; a great result will occur.

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
