TODAY THE WORDS are TAKING A TALLY. Once in a while all of us should stop for a tally or an evaluation which can mark our progress or non progress of any project or career we are actively engaged. It may be a project which has ended to evaluate our success or failure. Tallying is a great weigh to applaud or encourage people to move forward. In order to give you an idea of tallying; I decided to look at my blog and see if I consider it successful or not. I am furnishing some stats for all to see:

60,806 and growing faster each day. It seemed like it took forever to get to the first 10,000 page views, almost as long to get to 25,000, faster to get to 50,000 and now the blog is speeding up each week. It is from readers from several countries and their readership is greatly appreciated.

Advertising on the blog 10/19/2014
There are NO subscription fees to read the blog and Adsense places Ads on the top and sides of the blog. There is not significant response to the ads. I will review the ad numbers and if they are not growing in the near future, a subscription fee may have to be charged. I have hoped the blog would in revenue from the ads which can be used to promote more exposure to higher audiences.
Summary 10/19/2014
Growth is adequate and next goal of 75,000 page views and 75 countries has been set. Different sources of advertisements will be investigated. This is close to 2 years of blogging and the blessings received from hearing responses and comments makes the early rising to write it on a regular basis worthwhile. Encouragement for people to click on ads will be essential for promotional purposes.

When a published author, Peggy Mercer, a friend and classmate, suggested my writing would be a good match with a blog format in 2012, I was willing to try it. She expressed it would take dedication and determination and she was right. I started the blog not knowing how long I would continue to write it and after 631 posts, I am still writing the blog. Most blogs take several years before they have established credibility and since the blog is entering its 3rd year, I am excited about the possibilities and I thank Peggy for the advice.
Note: I am not posting my usual scripture verse as I wanted to give my testimony of what the blog has meant to me. God had bigger plans to use the inspirational, positive writing skills I had already loved to share with others to move me into a closer spiritual direction. As I have been blessed by seeing how God will work through my thoughts to give a life lesson (a lot of which were learned by my mistakes or experiences) through the simplest events in my life. I have learned a lot through this process and what I have learned; I share. I am living proof God will use the unworthy and make their work worthy by His Power. May you be blessed from the posts; may you laugh at my antics; and may you feel similar emotions and compassion from even one of them. God will have used me in a good way! Thanks for reading the blog and please continue to pray that I can keep writing for God’s purpose and not my own.
