Let Me See if I Have This Straight….
My flag of the country I love is now nothing more than a rag.
With no respect which you would allow to burn and drag?
My country that many died and injured in freedom’s name
Is being taken over by the very hate and slavery you defame.
My right to speak is now in jeopardy of being taken away
Unless I agree with all of the propaganda you vilely speak today?
My right to bear arms to protect my home is potentially harmed
While you stand to speak surrounded by guards who are armed.
You say now illegals can have all of our citizens hard earned rights
And you don’t feel this warrants any hard resistance and fights?
In other words, you want to steal from all of us who live to bear
And give to those who will willingly do what you say and not care.
I have some news for all of you who think you can rob and raise fears
From Americans who have given their blood, sweat and tears.
We pay taxes, yes we begrudgingly do to take care of me and you.
We love our land and no matter how hard you try, we will stay true.
You can stand and make a lot of stupid and nonsensible rhetoric.
Come election day, when the people stand and think patriotic.
You will find more strength from all of us mostly silent and true
Votes for our country’s basic loves and beliefs will come through.
Speaking as an American Citizen who will speak out and encouraging
Others to Stand Up for Our Country’s Freedom and Standards.
