FRIENDS SHOULD BE LISTED AS AN ASSET IN OUR PORTFOLIOS

As a mother, a wife, a sister, a nana, an aunt, a cousin, a friend, and then comes the other titles in life….writer, blogger, project manager, cook, baker, decorator, former finance manager, business owner, and whatever comes along in my surroundings. I value my family and I always have thought the closeness developed my people skills and my learning curiosity gave credence to the writing. My love of food but also creativity plays a large part in my culinary abilities. Today, I was reminded how important our friendships are in cultivating healthy relationships. I have friends that I truly admire for so many reasons as their talents, sweet spirits, leadership skills, communication abilities, charitable/service oriented minds, and for a lot of my friends who possess high degrees of spirituality. Let’s examine why we treasure friendships:

My Personal Thought on What It Means To Be a Good Friend:

First, be one! My thoughts go to something I love. Old vintage jewelry which I have several pieces. I wear them on special occasions and I take pride when someone notices them. I take good care of them, I appreciate them for their unique qualities and individualism. I don’t callously lay them aside but place them where they will be protected and safe. If I treat my friends the same way as I take care of my vintage jewelry, it will be a lifetime of great memories of good times and love. (Arline Miller, blogger and friend)
